Security and safety

Designed for industrial environments where trust matters.

MotorHealth AI is built as a monitoring and decision-support platform. It does not control plant equipment unless a future written integration agreement explicitly authorizes that scope.

Device authentication

Edge devices identify themselves before sending telemetry. Device secrets should be rotated and protected.

Signed telemetry

Packets can be signed and timestamp-validated so the cloud can reject unauthorized or stale data.

Role-based access

Admin, engineer, maintenance, and viewer roles can separate setup tasks from daily monitoring.

Audit logs

Important actions such as login, setup changes, alerts, and work-order decisions should be recorded.

Offline buffering

Edge devices can continue collecting data when internet connectivity is interrupted and upload later.

Data separation

Customer, site, asset, and sensor data should remain tenant-isolated in production deployments.

Safety position

MotorHealth AI provides monitoring, evidence, and recommendations. The customer remains responsible for operational, maintenance, electrical, and safety decisions.

  • Follow customer PPE requirements
  • Use lockout/tagout when required
  • Do not open energized panels without authorization
  • Do not bypass safety systems
  • Document sensor installation and removal

Production deployment checklist

For a customer-facing deployment, use HTTPS, secure secrets, backups, private admin access, role-based users, and a signed pilot agreement before installation.
